About Luke

Luke Negen came to Fairway Home Mortgage with prior mortgage experience and one strong conviction: the industry makes home financing feel more complicated than it is. Most buyers don't need a seminar — they need someone to translate. Rates, programs, PMI, points, escrow: it all reduces to a monthly payment and a plan, and that's where Luke starts every conversation.

Based at Fairway's Eden Prairie branch and licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin, Luke works with first-time buyers, move-up buyers, and everyone in between across the Twin Cities metro and beyond. Because he's backed by one of the country's largest independent mortgage lenders, he can put nearly any program to work — conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, jumbo, and Minnesota Housing down payment assistance.

Outside of work hours — which, fair warning, Luke defines loosely, since payment questions don't keep business hours — you'll find him around the Twin Cities.

Luke works out of Fairway's Eden Prairie, MN branch at 7500 Flying Cloud Drive, Suite 900, Eden Prairie, MN 55344, and is licensed to originate mortgage loans in Minnesota & Wisconsin — licenses MN-MLO-2566600 and WI 2566600. Verify anytime via NMLS Consumer Access.

How Luke works

Three commitments

Answer first, always

Your question gets answered before anything else happens. No gatekeeping the numbers behind an application.

Plain English only

If Luke can't explain it simply, he'll keep trying until he can. Jargon is a lender problem, not a you problem.

Zero pressure

Not ready to buy? Great — now you have a number and a plan. Luke plays the long game, not the hard sell.

So — what's your payment?

There's exactly one way to find out for real. Luke is a text away, and the first answer is always free. So is every answer after that.
